Are employees interested in Aflac voluntary benefits?

A recent survey of nearly 500 full-time workers* shows that while employers may be looking to reduce costs any way they can, they should recognize the potential long-term effects of reducing benefits. For example, 27 percent of full-time employees say they would look for another job if their employer eliminated medical insurance. Consider this:

* Benefits are so important to employees, 57 percent say they would be willing to take a salary cut or do without a raise or bonus to maintain current coverage levels.
* Half of employees would consider paying all or most of the costs for voluntary insurance if their employer made it available.
* Women and those in professional/managerial occupations are significantly more open to considering voluntary benefits.
