Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

We designed a family package of supplemental insurance policies to help cover maternity costs for your family.  It consists of our Hospital Protection Plan for your hospital confinement stay and our Personal Sickness Plan for physician visits and hospital confinement.  A  Hospital Intensive Care Plan pays benefits when a covered person is charged for confinement in a hospital intensive care unit.

Hospital Protection

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Hospital Confinement Indemnity Insurance provides the benefit you need, when you need it.  The Aflac program puts you under our wing by providing an array of benefits when you are hospitalized.  And let’s face it, being in the hospital is a bitch.

The protection provided includes an Annual Hospitalization Confinement Benefit paid for the first five days of hospitalization.  In addition, there is a Daily Hospital Confinement Benefit for up to 365 days.  A Rehabilitation Unit Benefit is paid for each day you transferred to a bed in a rehabilitation unit of a hospital.  There is an Invasive Diagnostic Exams Benefit for exams such as a colonoscopy.  A Surgical Benefit is provided when a surgical operation is performed in a hospital or an ambulatory surgical center.  If you have an invasive diagnostic exam or a surgical operation performed on an outpatient basis, there is an Outpatient Surgical Room Charge Benefit.

An optional Initial Hospitalization Benefit will pay a selected amount when you require hospital confinement for a covered sickness or injury.  The benefits are available for the delivery of a baby after the first 10 months of the effective date of the policy, which makes it an ideal part of a “Baby Package”.

Accident Insurance

Sunday, August 23rd, 2009

Accidents happen to all kinds of people every day.
In 2005, over 30 million people sought medical
attention for an injury and almost 3 million of these
were hospitalized.

What would the financial impact of an injury mean to
your secdurity?  Are you prepared for medical debts
in addition to everyday household expenditures and
lost wages?  Out-of-pocket expenses associated with
an accident are unexpected and often burdensome;
perhaps the accident itself could not have been
prevented, but its impact on your finances and your
well-being certainly can be reduced.

Aflac accident insurance is designed to provide you
with cash benefits throughout the different stages of
care, regardless of the severity of the injury.

Personal Sickness Indemnity

Friday, October 3rd, 2008

Personal sickness indemnity benefits for sickness are valuable, and since the majority of emergency room visits and hospitalizations are sickness-related, missing these benefits could leave a gaping hole in your coverage.

•  PSI is there when you need it … and even when you don’t! While the primary benefits of the policy pay for treatment of sickness, Physician Visits Benefits are payable for any reason. A policyholder doesn’t have to get sick to obtain the benefits of PSI.

•  Benefits can be customized to meet each applicant’s specific needs! With three levels of coverage to choose from, applicants can select the Physician Visits and Hospital Confinement Benefit amounts that best meet their needs. The optional rider allows for additional customization to match benefits to the major medical hospital deductible.

•  Although most people (particularly at younger ages), think of a hospital as a place to go for accidents, the majority of hospitalizations are actually due to sickness.

•  As with other Aflac policies, we don’t use networks, there are no preauthorization requirements, PSI is portable, and benefits are paid directly to the policyholder, unless otherwise directed.
